The Walking Bus

Every day of the week staff facilitate a "Walking Bus" to support children getting to school in time for Breakfast Club. The Walking bus starts from the Georgeham Playing Field at 7:55am and will collect children enroute from the post box and village hall before walking to school.

Travel to School

We encourage families living in Georgeham or close by to walk or cycle/scoot to school.  Storage is provided for scooters, skateboards and bikes – we ask that you all wear helmets please!  If you are travelling to school by car from Croyde or further afield, please park in one of the village car parks and walk the last few metres to school.  (Not only does it teaches children that a route to school can count as exercise but it contributes to your own daily step count !) .
If you are driving from the Baggy Point side of Croyde or Putsborough direction, do park along the Putsborough Road, but again be mindful of children walking and the local residents drive ways !

It is illegal, but also dangerous to stop or drop off children in the zig zag zone immediately outside of the school. Please don't put the danger/trauma of an unseen child running out between cars onto any other driver using the road, or endanger your own child in this way.
